It is possible, though not likely, that you have both products available on your system (Syncsort and DFSORT). Some sites do pay for licenses for both products, but most sites choose one or the other. It appears that Syncsort is your primary sort (the one you get when you use PGM=SORT). So if your site has a DFSORT license as well, your System Programmers would have installed DFSORT in private libraries that you'd need to JOBLIB to. Your System Programmers would be able to tell you if DFSORT is licensed and if so, which libraries to use to access it.

Hello,

I ran that jcl given previously - and found that SYNCSORT is installed on my system.
Does this mean there is a problem or only that the product has been identified?

If you post your problem or doubt, someone may have a suggestion.
