Hello,
Your topic has been moved to the Syncsort part of the forum.
FINDREP is supported in Syncsort and has been for some time. Which release of Syncsort is being used. If you do not know, this is shown on the top of the informational output generated by an execution of Syncsort.

Mine is using "SYNCSORT FOR Z/OS 1.3.0.2R"..
If FINDREP is supported, could you tell me whats wrong in the sortcard i have given?

Have you got your Syncsort documentation?
Try one of the FINDREP examples. See if you can get that to work.
EDIT: I've just searched this forum. Have a look at this:
syncsort-synctool/topic4784.html#p19682This was written by a Syncsort employee. DFSORT has INOUT as well.

I dont have Syncsort 1.3.0.2 manual.. i tried various combinations of FINDREP but no luck.. i tried it appending to my previous sortcard given by Frank. Im not sure whether i need to write a seperate one. if its a one single sortcard, that would be great.. let me know if its possible

Have you tried doing a really simple FINDREP with not much else to get in the way, it doesn't have to have anything to do with your current task. Does it work?

Once again, i must apoplgize for not having everythng i need with me. . .
Just noticed that your release of Syncsort is 1.3.0.x. I don't recall when FINDREP was first available - it is in the 1.3.x documentation, but might not have been in the 1.3.0 release(s). If i can get to my "stuff" over the weekend, i'll try to confirm.

FINDREP has been available since SyncSort for z/OS 1.3.2.0.
