print part of a procedure in a screen-friendly fashion

Postby tinning.michael » Fri Aug 29, 2008 1:11 pm

Hello,

I need to output a part of a catalogued procedure onto a data set, for example the first 200 bytes of the IEBCOPY utility, in a screen-friendly way. Could you please help me on how to do this? I have recently started with a self-study Assembler training and here I have found a big stone on my way.

Sincerely,

Michael

Hello Michael and welcome to the forums,

for example the first 200 bytes of the IEBCOPY utility
I do not understand what this means. How does this relate to the "cataloged procedure"? What part of this procedure do you want to "output" and onto what kind of dataset?

Once we understand your requirement, we may be able to offer suggestions.
Hope this helps,
d.sch.
