What is a native "R"?

And why are you opening a thread after nearly 7 years, instead of starting a new one? Or using Google to see if that gives you something to go with?

PDS member sub.exec.scomn

No you have not! A member name is a max of 8 characters with no '.'s.

To process a PDS using rexx your easiest solution is to use the ISPF Library Management services. You will find documentation for this in the IBM manuals for TSO and ISPF. You can Google to find the manuals (or search your company's network to see if the manuals are there). Hint: for your search term on Google cut and paste some of the text in this post.

Why do you want to read them? There were many useful examples and suggestions in the topic you attached your question to. It is irrelevant whether the link worked or not, all the advice you needed was there.

If you say what you're trying to do, clearly, then you'll get better advice. Forget the link.
