Write NOTES line in a PS

i see some NOTES line

Immediately after opening a PS

After i type RESET , they are gone.

How to write them?

You can insert ==MSG> lines from an EDIT macro.

If you want them the stick around, overtype the ==MSG> field with MD to make them into data lines.

How do we use the edit macro .. can you please explain it in more detail.... ?

Edit macros are simple REXX or CLIST programs that are stored in an TSO library (SYSPROC?). They are called from the Command Line while in EDIT or VIEW or can be run by default based on panel or EDIT PROFILE settings.

I suggest you read the manual ISPF EDIT and EDIT Macros. There are probably examples there to get you started.
