See the DELETE command in TSO/E Command Reference for your z/OS release.

Better English is, "Is it possible to delete a GDG base?"

Technically, JCL is beyond the scope of CLIST and Rexx, but see "DFSMS AMS for Catalogs" for your z/OS release for a "JCL utility"("batch utility" is better) that will perform this task. A TSO solution has already been provided.

Return to CLIST & REXX
