in jcl something is created (gdg or vsam) we don't know. how can we reside it is gdg or vsam file

Hello,
If i understand the question (and i may not), you could use IDCAMS and do a LISTCAT and the output would tell you about the file(s). You might also look at the datasets using tso/ispf 3.4.
