Tape drives available/online to the system

Can any one tell me how to find the Tape drives available/online to the system? and how to identify whether it is 3490/ 3590 type drive?

Hello,

Talk with your system support people to learn what are used for generic/esoteric names (i.e. tape, cart, 3400, etc.

Once you know what the name(s) are, you can display which units are online using the display units command (D U xxxxxx,ONLINE).
