IEASYMXX - APF library

Hi,

Can we update the symbolically related dataset(For example: DEV.FDR14.&FDRLEVL..PLILOAD) at APF library(PROGXX) member and I tried updating it but the PROG member was not accepting the updates(Prior to IPL). Since i am trying to simplify the maintenance activity by just updating the IEASYMXX member with the product version alone during all the future maintenance activity or upgrade.

Z/os Version : 1.13.

Any Comment or suggestions are appreciated.

You can APF authorize a data set at any time using the correct commands (I do not think that you can use variables in those commands though), but, seeing as how you did not offer any error information it is impossible to analyse what your problem is. Jaggz, you have been around long enough to know better about posting a question without real error messages.
