I have a STB ,manufactured from KOREA.
So, it use a label of SMD processor of many leg on each four side please tell what is the role of it is it performing like computer?

OK, i have a satellite Dish receiver which is from Korea manufacture company not in India.
When i open the box i saw a circuit PCB which was using IBM processor on it what is the use of that processor in it?
why IBM was chooses?

The mere fact that something has an IBM label does not imply in any way that it is related to a mainframe and hence under the purview of this forum. We limit ourselves only to mainframe issues, not to any other IBM hardware or software.
