Re: how to incorporate ftp macro in jcl?
Your post is missing almost everything needed to provide you an answer.
Is the macro running on your 3270 emulator? If so, you are not going to be able to invoke it from the mainframe.
Furthermore, having FTP on a mainframe going to a PC works if -- AND ONLY IF -- the PC is a server, not a desktop as servers run software that most desktops do not even have installed.

You keep posting but not answering questions raised i.e. the last paragraph of Robert's reply, above. Failure to answer this question means that any suggestion given on the forum is pure speculation.
Saying something does not work is meaningless unless you show how it does not work.

The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Hi all,
Actually the macro is running in pcomm.
Actions-->start recording macro --> given a name for macro --> option 6 in ispf panel --> actions -->file receive from host--> giving destination file name and all
--> after transfer completed --> stop recording.
Now if I want to run that macro again I couldn't. I guess it because of the file name collapsed while running for the second time.
This is the issue I have faced.
please let me know if you required any other details.
Many Thanks,
Skanda
