My cousin has a cobol program from unit4 and is not supported anymore
Now they installed a new laser printer. We use net use command and one computer is printing right and the other computer is printing small and sometimes strange letters.
Can anybody help use to understand whar is happening?

Re: Printer issues and cobol program
No idea what unit4 is and if the output prints ok on one printer and not on another then it is probably the printer setup that is wrong. Contact the printer support group at work.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Re: Printer issues and cobol program
The Cobol program calls a printer screen that is in a window but not like a normal print dialog.
Options: Ascii, printer choose, number of prints, preview.
This screen is all of a sudden different. One has the option number of prints, The other is landscape print the other standing print.
We are trying to figure out what kind of printer screen it is?
So its not printer settings but a screen that cobol call before printing.
