How i can to run IV3C201T macro

Hi, all IMS Guru,

We have a IMS V9R1 system. I would like to add a new online application to a living IMS subsystem. My online application descriptred by a APPLCTN and a TRANSACT macro. Therefor I added this APPLCTN and this TRANSACT to the IV3C201T macro because this macro contains the all system definier macro calling. And now I would like to regenarate the my IMS sysbsytem. And I don't how to do this. I please send me some word about resolving my problem

Still running v9? Ouch..
IV3C201T is sample source for SYSGEN STAGE1 provided by IBM.
You should talk to your friendly neighbourhood IMS systems programmer to help you.

very thanks for your answer, but I edited the V3C201T file and assembled it with ASMA90 assembler. And the resault of assembly, which is a JCL scriptm, I runned on the Z OS. And on this point I stopped, because I do not know that upgrade the my active IMS region. For this I like to ask from you a little help about how can I upgrade the my active IMS region? I please send me some words about this problem!

we are a little company, with 1 manager, 1 secretary and 5 developer. We have not 'tech support team'.But i must know IMS v9.1, For this I'm asking stupid questions, because I do not know from where to get the required information. For this I'm very thankful for every help i can get.

what you are doing is just a control block generation ... not a FULL generation
and the process is much more simple

I want to learn about IMS only. But I don't have money for this pupose. For this I asked some question on this forum. I hope that is not very great mistake. But please speak a few words about to me which manner that must to generate an IMS control region very simply.

helping you the way you want, will take a considerable amount of time ...

the manuals You will need are the Administration set ( database manager, system, transaction manager )

also remember that the system you are workin on is 20 years old and lots of things have changed
in the customization and administration
