PL/I Overflow Issue

Postby fatmonster » Thu Jun 26, 2014 6:51 am

I am using an online PL/I program in CICS enviroment. I use "ON OVERFLOW" to handle overflow condition properly and everything looks good. However, I found that a system dump was taken when computation overflow occur. Is there any way to avoid taking cics dump when overflow occur? Thanks.

Any more useful information you can give us? We cannot see the rest of the dump, and mind-reading is not our speciality.

I am out of office in these few days and cannot access the dump now. But when I simulate the case I found that ASRA occured when overflow encountered in PL/I program.
