Hi,

Please can you explain the use of EQUALS while sorting records in a file.

Thanks,
Vivek.

Oh, another point to go with my "diatribe" in the DFSort section - do not double post either within the forum or across forums. The answer is the same and you waste people's time. The good forum member reads EVERY new post no matter what section it is in because it helps them understand and learn even if it is not (currently) relevant to their job.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
Regards
Nic

Hi Nic,

I suspect this was because of the "start a new topic" suggestion in the other post ;)

@Vivek - as Nic said - Welcome to the forum!
