What is max input files that can be concatenated

Hi. What is the maximum number of input files that can be concatenated as input? Thanks !!

It doesn't matter what program is used. The absolute max for the system is 3273.

The 3273 total is for all DDs in the whole step. A single DD concatenation will be less, even more so if any files allocate more than one device (unit).
