batch run opcd problem

Postby kuldeep negi » Mon May 25, 2009 8:17 pm

There are 40 applications(opcd)in a batch which run on daily basis.

Present situation:
whenever any application in the batch goes to error even then the batch again runs on the next day.

Desired situaton:
if any of the application goes into error on a particular day then the batch should not run on other day so that i can analyse that error. but if all the application goes without any error then the batch should run on other day as usual.

Please suggest what can be done....kuldeep negi

Hello,

Suggest you talk with the scheduling people.
Hope this helps,

the applications get scheduled in the production .
i think we can do something with the dependency within the applications.

Pls suggest..

Hello,

i think we can do something with the dependency within the applications.
I think so too - that is why i suggest you talk with the people responsible for scheduling. They probably already have similar processes defined.
Hope this helps,
