upgrading to CICSTS 5.6 from CICSTS 5.3 in our test region. we are now experiencing an ASRA abend in an assembler program that did not occur under 5.3. Verified there were no changes to the program. Used CEDF to follow the transaction and noticed that on the EXEC CICS LINK statement CICSTS 5.6 is now showing the COMMAREA and LENGTH, which CICS 5.3 does not. any one have seen anything like this? is CICSTS 5.6 doing something different with the COMMAREA?
