Re: CICS program

This is a HELP forum, not a DO-YOUR-WORK-FOR-YOU forum. If you ask for code here, you need to be prepared to pay the responders for their professional work product (which is what you are asking for). Typical rates are around 1000 U.S. dollars per day or fraction thereof for code.

Furthermore, your question is so broad as to be useless. Do you mean a program to interact with a terminal? interact with MQ series? interact with a data base (and which one -- DB2, Oracle, Sybase, iMS, IDMS, or one of the many others)? Interact with an APPC session? Interact with the spool? Do something else entirely? What research have you done already for yourself? Have you looked at the CICS manuals? Which language are you planning on using for this program (C, COBOL, PL/I and assembler are all supported for CICS -- and Java is available on recent systems)? How you answer these questions would generate other questions -- there are dozens, if not hundreds, of such questions that must be answered to properly write the program.

Hello,

When you have a question, you should start a new topic for your question rather than post a reply to some other topic. Your question has been split into a new topic.

Even if you were inclined to look for what you want, i doubt that searching for "pesudocode conversion " would find anything useful. As we often mention - using proper terminology is critical.

As you have posted in the CICS part of the forum, might this be "pseudo-conversational"? If this is what you are looking for, suggest you look in the CICS "Application Programming Guide" for the release of CICS being used on your system.
Hope this helps,
d.sch.
