Shortcut to different ISPF panels

Postby dohara » Sun Aug 30, 2009 6:55 pm

Hello

I try to invoke different ISPF panles, say 3.14 from another panel in ISPF. I know =3.14 serves this purpose but what i'm looking for is call a short rexx that invokes the proper panel.
I want to store the short code in UID.MAIN.CLIST so that i can call it any time. Can you provide me with some material where i can look up on how to invoke panels?

Thanks,
David

Why not use the ISPF Edit Models for what ISPF Services you want to use?

Hi

Thanks for your reply.
I managed to create my own ispf panels, i'm now having a bit of a trouble with IPSF variables like ZDLDSORG,ZDLDSNTP,ZDLRECFM etc..

Can you tell me where i can find info for these variables?

Thanks,
David

Hello,

See if this (from the ISPF Services Guide) will help:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/ ... G40/2.29.3

Here is the table of contents for the ISPF Services Guide:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/ ... 0/CONTENTS

Something handy to bookmark. . . ;)
Hope this helps,

Hi David,

You are not alone :)

There are many, many publications and no central reference (at least not that i've found) that covers them all.
Hope this helps,
