Hello and welcome to the forum,

Suggest you talk with the JES support person.

As Dick said, SYSOUT classes are defined as part of the JES set up. They are different for each site and you must contact your site support group to get this information.

For JES2, all 36 classes are useable (A - Z, 0 - 9) by default. Some classes may have special JES2 characteristics assigned or some may have a special use within your organization.

If you are allowed to enter commands, use $D OUTCLASS(*) to see the JES2 characteristics of each class.

Further research led me to the JES3 console command *I,SC=ALL which lists all the site sysout classes and their details.
