Extract SDSF output from held queue

Postby p19689 » Tue Nov 16, 2010 1:37 pm

Hi, I tried to save the output from SDSF held queue to a dataset and 'E' from command column and it worked and allowed me to allocate a dataset and save the job output. But when I tried in diffeent LPAR (obvioulsly it has different JES system) it does not respond to 'E' or 'XE' . But when I 'SE' it gave a browse mode. How should I save the output into dataset please. Thanks for your help.

Hi, I found the command to extract , It's 'XDC' .
Can someone please tell how to identify which JES system install in your system (JES2 or JES3) ?

1. Ask your site support group -- by far the most preferred answer (not just to this question, either).
2. Look at any batch job output -- the JES subsystem is identified on every job.

Thanks, We have JES2 and JES3 both in differnt LPARS. That's probably why some SDSF commads are not compatible.
