If you want an answer, describe the situation as fully as possible. What you are trying to do, what you hoped to achieve, the error messages which indicate a discrepency between the two, edt.

thanks for the reply. The situation is with the tablespace logged attribute
1)taken a full imagecopy
2)inserted 2 rows
3)recovered from full imagecopy
i tried this and in this case the 2 inserted records were ignored.
i have studied somewhere that the log will be applied after recovery. In which case the log will be applied when we recover the tablespace with imagecopy. Please help

Thanks in advance.

Well, I'm guessing it wouldn't be automatic, as sometimes you'd just want to be back at your previous point. Don't you have any DB2 support onsite? I'd try them.

TOCOPY / TOLOGPOINT / ...
reread IBM administration guide about recovery.
