Help: CCSID mismatch issue

Postby crazystorm » Tue Jun 07, 2011 8:30 pm

Hi,

when I enter the DB2 Admin Tool, the below warning message is shown. How to solve this problem? Thanks.

----------------------- Verify CCSID -------------------------------- 16:58

Warning: DB2 data corruption can result from this DB2 Administration Tool
session because the CCSID used by the terminal is not the same as the CCSID
used by DB2 Admin. Notify the DB2 Admin administrator.

- Terminal CCSID :00037
- Admin Tool plan CCSID:00500

Press: ENTER to continue or END to exit

Did you notice the warning message tells you what to do?
Notify the DB2 Admin administrator.

Is there some reason you are avoiding talking to your site's DB2 Admin tool administrator?

Since we do not work at your site, we do not know if this is a problem with your specific terminal or if it is a problem for everybody. Nor do we know if the DB2 Admin tool administrator just changed something in the configuration to cause the message to appear. Nor do we know if the systems programmer that installed DB2 Admin may have missed a step in the installation process.

In other words, contact your site support group and get them to help you. This issue is specific to your site and any advice we give you could be wrong or even make things worse.
