Sort in microfocus

Postby arya_starc » Wed Jun 28, 2017 2:31 pm

Hi All,

I am doing JOINKEYS operation usinf sort in microfocus environment.
But on executing the job I am getting the error message "JOINKEYS OPERATOR NOT FOUND".
Is it because micro focus environment might be using different program for sort.
Does anybody have any idea of executing Sort in Micro Focus.

You ARE running on a mainframe, are you not? Not a simulated mainframe environment?
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Have you contacted the vendor? If not, they should be your FIRST point of contact. This is a mainframe forum, NOT a Microfocus forum. Most likely Microfocus does not support JOINKEYS in their sort, but you would need to consult the documentation or talk to the vendor to be sure of this. It is almost certain that you won't find an answer on this forum.
