Hi Frank

Thanks a lot for getting me the solution.
I have seen one more problem in the report.
The report page number is always 2 as below.
Can you please tell me what could be the reason for that?

When I run the DFSORT job I posted, the page number is 1, not 2. If you're getting page number 2, then either you're not using DFSORT, or you changed something.

You would need to show me the complete JES log for your job in order for me to comment further.

Hi Frank

Just now I noticed the Spool data. It shows Syncsort for Z/OS 1.3.2.1R.
But I have not modified anything in the sort card.
I gave PGM=SORT in the step. I dont know how it takes the program as SYNCSORT.

It takes the program as Syncsort because that's the sort product installed at YOUR site.

The job I posted works fine with DFSORT and displays page 1. Syncsort is apparently displaying page 2.

I'm a DFSORT developer. DFSORT and Syncsort are competitive products. I'm happy to answer questions on DFSORT and DFSORT's ICETOOL, but I don't answer questions on Syncsort.

Please post Syncsort questions in the Syncsort Topic, not in the DFSORT Topic.
