Hi,
Can u help me with some basic documents/ Manuals on FAVER backup.
I need to know SYNTAX and their explanations on FAVER BACKUPS/ RESTORES using PGM=GVEXPORT and PGM=GVRESTOR

Computer Associates has copyrights on their documentation. If you are authorized to use the product, you can go to the CA support web site
http://support.ca.com and retrieve all the manuals. If you are not authorized to use the product, it would be illegal to provide you with them.

Hi Robert,
I heard that it is a free utility along with CA7. Can u provide me the exact link wtih the FAVER documentation so that I could check if I have access or not?

http://support.ca.com is the official web site for CA support and documentation. My quick scan of CA does not find anything indicating that CA-FAVER is free nor that is a component of CA-7, although it works with CA-7.
