Hello friends, look who's back!

Well, first of all, good news: I'm working on IBM Brazil now, z/OS and z/VM + Linux assistant (Student program :P), started this week because of my performance on the Master the Mainframe Contest.

Ok, so, here's the deal: I'm looking for some e-books and/or tutorials with guides, tips and etc about installing, setting up, customizing and all these stuff about z/OS and, if possible, z/VM and Linux on the mainframe platform.

I'm not sure if I was clear about what I really need, because there's so much information coming in at the same time and I'm a bit lost, but you guys might understand =P

Thanks in advance!

[]'s,

Hakghen

Hello,

From an IBMer of my acquaintence:
The ServerPac ( the current IBM way of distributing z/OS )
should have ...
detailed,
well documented checklists,
good documentation
customization sheets, procedures, ISPF dialogs

fill the customization sheets,
run the customization procedures/dialogs
run the customized jcls following the provided checklist
Suggest you locate the serverpac used to install your system and refer to the materials there.
