National Characters

Does anyone know if there's any specific resources to consult regarding national characters for all the various regions there are?
So far I've encountered that in the US, the national characters may be '@$#' whereas in the UK, they might be '£@#', in other regions, the use of '§' may be used.
Does anyone know what national characters are used within Asia, such as CN, SN and HK? I'm unable to come across it in documentation but it might be because I'm looking at English versions of documentation perhaps
