What are the things you should consider when moving from one mainframe workload to another mainframe? for example network names, printer names, sessions names....basically move a working mainframe from one place to another working mainframe.... what are all the things you would consider?

Basically, you outlined the requirements. Identify the resources required by the application, and replicate them on the new system or specify an equivalent resource to replace the resource on the original system.

"Moving" a mainframe to a new location represents a more complex situation and is almost certainly beyond the scope of this forum. Are the devices moving, too? Some provision will be required for any devices - printers, for example - that are not being moved. I've been involved in this, but I was a mere helper, not in charge of any aspect of the move. If the "move" is to a different machine you need to get the serial number of the new machine, and contact software vendors for assistance.
