Google is your friend. Look for free 3270 terminal emulator and you might find a few. However, they usually are fairly low-cost ($30 to $50) so you may have trouble finding completely free ones.

And be aware that having a terminal emulator does nothing to grant you access to mainframe software.

You may try wc3270 at this link: http://x3270.bgp.nu/download.html
It is not so bad and it is free.

delorimier has kindly sent you a link - something you could have obtained yourself by the simple expediency of using google. A) you would have typed less. B) you would have had an answer much sooner.

I totally get asking the question here. The answer is much more...curated than simply slogging through Google links.

"Which cell phone company do you use?" Sure I could go find them all, but I'd rather hear from people I am familiar with and get their impressions.

Hi Ed, The problem os that the person does not appear to have done ANY hoemwork. He could have listed a few that he could have found via Google and then asked for peoples opinion but all he did was ask for ANY link. Not quite the same thing as asking everyone what they thought of such-and-such mobile phone.

I believe, from other posts, that you want to use the terminal emulator to enable you to log in to your colleges mainframe. Have you enquired of your college if you are allowed to access the system remotely. If you are maybe they have the required software for you to use. Most places with remote access require at least some of security software which they would supply to legitimate users.
