How to Convert mainframes data reccord in to XML string

Postby meetraju2002 » Tue Sep 20, 2016 12:22 pm

Hi,

I have a requirement to prepare the data record in mainframes in to a suitable XML string format so that the receiving application can use the file directly and load the data using XML data loader.

Can any one share your experiences if any one has worked on similar requirement.

Thanks and Regards,

Have you read the COBOL manual to understand COBOL's XML handling functions?
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Which version of Enterprise COBOL are you running? IBM has done a lot of work with XML in recent releases of the compiler.
