Hi,

I'm a developer and looking for an open TN3270 Server for testing a terminal emulation and screen scraping processes...
Anybody here, who knows an open TN3270 Server where I can log in to test some processes?
Is there any possibilities to? I only need a TN3270 Server with some example Screens...
Thanks a lot!

Greetings

Freeware 3270 emulators
# tn3270 for the Macintosh
# tn3270 for Unix (recommend x3270 instead)
# x3270 - IBM 3270 terminal emulator for the X Window System. It runs on most Unix-like operating systems -- e.g., Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, and Cygwin.

@Anuj Dhawan THX for your answer, but I don't looking for a Terminal Emulator. What I need is a Server where I can connect to.
I'm looking for a open TN3270 Mainframe for testing. I need to connect to this Mainframe for some testing processes...

open TN3270

a <host> running a telnet 3270 server to which connect to run experiment from a client

depending on Your needs and time available maybe the best way is to install on Your PC a TN3270 server

free to test at any time, even devising different 3270 screen situations

I would grab the hercules s/370-s/390-esame emulator and the turnkey mvs 3.8 distribution...
it is free it can run 3270 tso sessions ( even if old it is workable )

it should not take more than an afternoon to have it up and running
( I was abou to say a couple of hours, but I gave You a better chance )
cheers

so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
