WOLA API Connection from Cobol

Postby jinojohn81 » Sat Oct 22, 2011 3:27 am

Hi Guys,

Can anyone let know how we can connect the Web-sphere API WOLA from the cobol programme.

Can i get some example ?

How can we convert the data coming in the copy book into the XML format in a cobol program , do we have any IBM utility available for converting the data into XML format ?
(please give me an example , in case if you have it)

i would require this step to send the data into WOLA interface.

Regards,
John

Hello,

Suggest you look to IBM for WOLA API examples. None of my clients are using this (yet).

Enterprise COBOL supports XML. Suggest you start here Syntax of the XML GENERATE:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/ ... r50/6.2.41

At the top left of the manual page is a link to the Table of Contents. The yellow tubelight/flashlight is the manual search tool.
Hope this helps,
d.sch.
