Assembler code analysis tools

Postby gadde9 » Thu Jul 19, 2018 9:06 pm

Hi All,

Can anyone let me know if there are any tools that can analyse the code written in Mainframe assembly language and provide us the flow of the program. This is needed for one of our projects where we need to analyse thousands of Mainframe Assembly programs and give a flow of the program.

Regards,
Satish

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

Well, that's annoying.

I downloaded the 2 files in the instructions and tried running the asmputw.exe file and got back a message they are 16-bit! Windoze files which don't work on 64 bit Windoze 7. I still have one Windoze XP system, but I don't run it much. I suppose I could try the install over there, but that machine (a 2002 Thinkpad!) is slowly being killed as it is very slow and increasingly flaky
