Posted: Wed Mar 16, 2011 1:22 pmI contradict myself. We used to have a "print file" of all different sorts of print record types. Sorted the whole thing on 40 characters, with the record type first. Here, packed or binary could cause confusion, so to be avoided. Not sure if it is a common way to do things these days.
