How to remove '+' sign from SYSLOG

I am sending a message to the SYSLOG through a macro program. The message is displayed with a prefix of '+'

for eg:

+IKJ0112A THIS IS A TEST MESSAGE

Is there any way to remove this prefix('+' sign

I was told, a long time ago, that the '+' plus is the result of whether or not the program executing the WTO is APF-Authorized.

Hi MrSpock.. can you expalin in Briefly and any other way to write the message into syslog without any symbol?

Fascinating! I had never heard this but I just did a test and confirmed that when the program issuing the WTO is APF-authorized the '+' is not there.

APF-authorization requires a system authorized load library and LKED your module with AC=1 in the PARM or AC(1) in SYSIN.
