Is it possible to Split the PDS members into separate PDS based on the numbers given.
master PDS
Mem-1
Mem-2
Mem-3
Mem-4
Mem-5
Mem-6
chile PDS1
Mem-1
Mem-2
chile PDS2
Mem-3
Mem-4
chile PDS3
Mem-5
Mem-6
please tell me how to achieve this.

jvinoth, IEBCOPY can be used to copy members from one PDS to another. However, there is no "master - child" relationship between the different PDS files (assuming, of course, that you mis-spelled child as chile; if you really meant chile I see no way that word could possibly apply in this case). Perhaps if you could explain what you mean by "master PDS" and "child PDS" we might have other suggestions, or we will be able to tell you that what you want to do is not possible on a mainframe.
