Postby Bad Man » Fri May 14, 2010 12:25 am

Hi I needed to know the DFHSM backup and dump logs shots from the past days and some months ago. How can I do that. Any direction how to do it.

Contact your site support group for assistance. HSM has a variety of parameters that determine what is logged and when. Nobody outside of your site can possibly tell you whether or not the data you want exists, nor what the data set names or retention periods would be.

The HSM job will have an HSMPARM DD name, which will typically point to SYS1.PARMLIB (or something similar). ARCCMDxx member of that PDS will have the HSM parameters and you can review these parameters to see what they say about logging.
