Hello Team,
We are planning to bring in DevOps with Mainframe by eliminating the Changeman and bringing-in Git for version control system. Just wanted to know your thoughts and pros/cons of this approach.
Our goal is to attain the following,
- Automated Build and Deployment.
- Using Git as VCS instead of Changeman.
- Is there a way to migrate all the source code form changeman to Git?
Also wanted to know the DevOps capability in-terms of Mainframe Stack. Does anyone here involved in automation with Mainframe using Opensource / Enterprise tool stack? If yes, it would be good to know the experience and difficulties in implementation.

the most idiotic idea after the one about moving from z/OS to window and expecting the same results
post a photo of the manager who brought up the stupid idea
did anybody in Your organisation read and MEDITATE about the differences in workflow between the two environments

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
