IBM Mainframe Forum

I'm curious, what is the typical sequence of training for these "Mainframe Institutes"? What sort of pre-requesite skills are necessary before one can be enrolled? Are the students typically knowledgeable IT professionals?

Typically, the schools referred to on the forum are for people with little or no mainframe experience (or other IT experience for that matter).
