I wish to start a Mainframe training program in my institute. But I have no idea what all infrastructure will I require for the same. Can anyone please guide me?

for case (2) the training institute will tell all You might want to know

for case (1) since it looks like You do not have a the slightest idea about IT
the best thing to do would be to start taking some basic courses to develop the missing and needed entrepreneurial and IT skills
and hire some paid consultants to guide You thru the long and windy road You are leading on

and being new to the sector how in heaven do You expect to be able to give good service to Your customers
the concern stands for whatever activity in whatever sector You are going to start !

How many years of mainframe hands-on experience do you have?

If this mainframe training does not go well, maybe the training could be retargeted for surgeons. . .

Possibly not - there may be much more money to be made training people for the mainframe than teaching them to be surgeons. . . .
