Accessing SAR through REXX

Postby muthudx » Sat Dec 31, 2011 1:53 pm

Hi,
I am writing a rexx program which needs to access SAR. Is there any commands like ADDRESS ISPEXEC "VIEW DATASET('ASDF')", which fetches the dataset name as input and displays the corresponding dataset. In the same way, i need to display a job in SAR.

What does your SAR documentation say? Or your SAR support?
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

What have you tried so far your self? SAR is a vendor product called View from CA. Please give more information or what you want to do and the environment that you want to use - for example is this a batch or tso or batch tso environment / JCL ?
