When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

I thought it was a good example of a new user learning basic skills... a nice discussion for the beginner forum.

You are trying to execute ISPF stuff withput allocating the ISPF data sets in your batch job. Search this forum and the JCL forum for examples.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
