Hi,

i have a live file(GDG version) in MVSA region. I am trying to run a REXX program in MVSK region, I need to pull the file from MVSA. Is there any want that i can fetch the file name from MVSA region in REXX.

all depends on the dasd setup of the two systems
I infer that by regions You intend different LPARS or zOS instances

if the relevant dasd and catalogs are shared You can use BPXWDYN to obtain the real name of a GDG generation from whatever zOS instance You are logged on

in IT terminology is important the right term is GENERATION, not VERSION
