Hi everyone,

Currently working as Mainframe Developer for batch processing... voluntarily

DB2 DBA

.. Please can someone help with me regarding this. I mean...
1. what are daily job functionalities of |DB2 DBA
2. Do we have any resources(text or video) to learn these.
3. All the stuff needed to be db2 dba.

I have already asked my DB2 DBA he clearly refused to give his support...

1. what are daily job functionalities of |DB2 DBA

This is quite site-specific. What your dba does routinely may be different than what others do. Also, there may be multiple dba positions in your organization and they may have different responsibilities.

2. Do we have any resources(text or video) to learn these.

Not that i'm aware of. Learning is usually a combination of OJT and edutacion classes.

3. All the stuff needed to be db2 dba.

Unfortunate. . . Suggest you talk with your manager that you are interested in becoming a dba and see what is recommended.
