Can v save videos,music in a database..i have read tat we can but wonder how!!!Experts....Plz explain....Also i would wish to know the practical use of graphic data type in DB2...

How about a .jpg image of the employe's face in an HR database?

Yes this can be a possibility...so if such kinda info(.jpg) needs to be stored in DB2 then how it is done so???...Also plz lemme know the practical uses of graphic data type...am not savvy in Db2 as am a beginner so plz bear with me if the questions r silly...

Already asked and answered. It is a good thing to read the replies before repeating the same question. As another type of example - go to ANY major web site and look at the amount of graphic data - those too are practical uses of graphic data. . .

DB2 supports graphic data. I suggest you do some research on this and post anything you find that is not clear. We may be able to explain what you find that is not clear.
