From DB2 Z/Os to MS SQL server access

Hi, I need to access MS QL server and select some records from SQL database table and populate a table in DB2 Z/Os (V9) . Is this possible and what involves please ?

First stop would be your DB2 tech guys to make sure that such thing is possible with what you hve in your shop.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
