Study materials on Mainframe - NOMAD technology

Postby harimhp » Sat Dec 01, 2012 11:49 am

Hi All,

Can anybody help me out with study materials or links on NOMAD technology.
I'm badly in need of this and also eager to know the concepts. I'm sure there is many out there, in need of materials on NOMAD technology. So even a pocket book on NOMAD would serve us big time.

Regards,
Hari

What did you discover when you used Google to search?
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Once upon a time (30+ years ago), i was the NOMAD coordinator for my company and when i saw this topic, got curious. . .

You might start here:
http://www.selectbs.com/Nomad/nomad

The people i dealt with were National CSS and that is gone now. . .
Hope this helps,

I doubt that the TS would need material on <that> NOMAD

it would be wiser when asking
not just to drop a name and expect good guesses
but also give a short description of the <object> of the question
cheers
enrico
When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

Hi Scherrer and Enrico,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I was actually referring to the Mainframe- VM- NOMAD reporting script.
After a bit of surfing, I got hold of a document which had a set of sample commands such as 'LIST, SELECT, DEFINEd' etc in -

Thanks,

Hello,

Then i suggest you try the link previously posted. . .

The product has changed owners multiple times and has added "things" over the years.
Hope this helps,
