Hi

I want to copy the VSAM to PS file. i am using IDCAMS utility - REPRO INFILE(INDD) OUTFILE(OUTDD). here, 19millions of records need to copy into PS. its being taken exection time of 30mins and more.

Can we do the copy VSAM file to PS and PS file to VSAM by using DFSORT ?.

Please Advice.

Yes, you can, but you won't necessarily see performance improvements. You'd have to try it to find out.
